Virtual production studio

For the past three years, Istudios, in collaboration with the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Region Blekinge, and Karlskrona Municipality, has been working to develop innovative approaches to virtual production within the Virtual Production Studio Lab.

We are pleased to announce the realization of our efforts with the opening of the newly established Karlskrona Blue Port Studios, situated at Blåportsgatan 10, Karlskrona, Sweden.

The studio represents a significant milestone, providing us, the region’s filmmakers and other industries with exceptional opportunities to attract exciting projects and engage with cutting-edge technology.

During the Carl Film Forum, Istudios showcased a demonstration featuring the studio's 24×6 meter LED virtual production screen, which seamlessly blends real and virtual environments.

This screen serves as the centerpiece of the studio, making it Sweden's largest LED-based virtual production facility.
